Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting - Panel Discussion

At the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in August 2022, I was invited to participate in a panel discussion on “Social Change and Social Media” together with Laureates Joseph Stiglitz and Richard Thaler. Torsten Persson moderated the discussion that was well received and created many follow-up conversations with economists and the media.

Mental Health and Economic Outcomes

In 2023, I hosted a multidisciplinary panel discussion on “Mental Health and Economic Outcomes” in Tallinn.

EEA Teaching Award

In 2022 I received the EEA’s inaugural Award for Excpetional Teaching in the early-career category. This award was widely acknowledged in the economics community and covered by the EEA as well as media.

Indvidualism and the Formation of Human Capital

Understanding the role of culture in individual economic decision-making is crucial for fostering intercultural communication and improve institutional design. Thus, my co-authors and I made our results accessible to media and the interested public. This outreach also provided a great opportunity to use my journalistic skills. (All links in German.)
